Trius Energy, LLC,
is a limited liability company that was formed by
Jeffrey Scott Tyson (President), Ryan Charles Hudson
(Chief Executive Officer), and Michael Douglas Carey
(Chief Operations Officer). Trius Energy is an independent
producer of oil and gas built on the foundation
of strong moral values and dedication to our clients
which differentiate us from the industry standard.
Trius is the managing entity for all of our programs
and will be continuously drilling new wells and
reworking existing wells to exceed our investment
expectations.

Juan
E. Cabrera - Chairman
Juan E. Cabrera is the Chairman of Trius Energy,
LLC. In this role, he works with management to develop
strategy, review and secure prospects, manage infrastructure
and he also identifies and secures strategic relationships.
He is a former practicing attorney with extensive
international experience in the areas in corporate
operations, governance, finance, and sales management.
He has managed negotiations in multiple languages
with international government authorities and large
institutions, primarily in the banking, technology
and oil and gas sectors.
He has worked with Fortune 500 corporations managing
operations in Europe, Latin America and Asia-Pacific.
He served as Chief Technology Counsel for a leading
international money manager with over $400 billion
under management.
He currently serves on the Advisory Board of a
publicly traded oil and gas exploration company
and as CEO for an international investment firm
specializing in energy and real estate investments.
He has a BBA in Marketing and a Juris Doctorate
from the University Of Texas School Of Law. Mr.
Cabrera is currently a member of the Texas Bar
Association, International Bar Association and
the American Bar Association. He and his wife
of 15 years have 3 children.

Jeffrey
Scott Tyson - President & CEO
Mr. Tyson oversees the daily operations of the company
and is involved with client relations and leasehold
acquisitions. He was born in Shreveport, Louisiana,
and grew up in Atlanta, Texas. Mr. Tyson attended
the University of Texas at Austin and received a
BBA in Marketing. He has held sales management positions
over the past 17 years for a variety of industry
leaders including Golfsmith Intl., IKON, West Group
and RLS. Mr. Tyson also owns a trucking company
and a real estate investment group and sits on several
boards. He and his wife of 16 years have two children.

Dick
Weinberger, CPA - Chief Financial Officer,
Chief Operating Officer
Mr. Weinberger is the CFO and COO of Trius Energy,
LLC. In this role, he oversees all financial and
operational areas of the company as well as all
finance activities related to individual projects.
Dick’s background is well suited to handle
the multitude of duties associated with this position.
He was the founder and CEO of a CPA firm in Amarillo,
TX, for 18 years prior to selling his interest.
The firm represented small to mid-cap companies
in diversified businesses such as oil and gas, ranching,
retail, wholesale, and professional services as
well as specialized areas of litigation support.
Upon relocating to Austin in 1998, Dick has held
CFO and co-operating positions for a national health
care company and a venture capital-backed internet
start-up company. While in Amarillo, Dick was a
two-time winner in citywide elections to the Amarillo
Independent School District Board of Trustees in
which he was a member for 9 years. During his tenure
as President, he successfully led the passage of
a difficult multi-million dollar bond issue that
renovated virtually every school in the city.
He holds a BBA degree in marketing from the University
of Texas, a BBA degree cum laude in accounting from
West Texas A&M University and a MBA in management
from West Texas A&M University. He is nearing
completion on a PhD in business and is an accomplished
speaker having taught at the university level and
facilitated state and national continuing education
tax workshops for CPAs and tax professionals.

Ryan
C. Hudson - VP, Field Operations and
Engineering
Mr. Hudson oversees all field operations and legal
and contractual matters related to field operations
in addition to the day-to-day responsibilities while
drilling a well. He was born in Temple, Texas and
grew up in Lorena, Texas. Mr. Hudson attended Texas
State Technical College in Waco, TX. Mr. Hudson
has twelve years of sales and management experience
including five years in the oil and gas industry.
He and his wife have two children.

Michael
D. Carey - VP, Investor Relations and
Operations
Mr. Carey's daily tasks include home office correspondence,
maintaining and developing client relations, as
well as check distributions.. He was born in Laramie,
Wyoming and grew up and attended college in Casper,
Wyoming. From 1998 to Present, Mr. Carey has excelled
as a consultant in the oil and gas industry in Wyoming
and Texas.

Charles
D. “Chuck” Lawson - Oil
& Gas Consultant
Mr. Lawson has been in the oil and gas industry
since 1970 where he was a floor hand and an operator
specializing in work-overs and re-entries until
1977 where he played with the Dallas Cowboys. Chuck
returned to the industry a few years later where
he preformed mud logging, geology, pressure detection
Offshore for Texas Gulf Coast. He also worked with
some majors (Texaco, Mobil, and Transco) doing directional
drilling, reservoir evaluations, electric log interpretations
in the Gulf of Mexico, Texas Gulf Coast, Louisiana
Gulf Coast, & East Texas. His drilling, completion
supervision and consulting experience enabled him
to start Cavalier Oil and Gas, Inc.

Mark
H. Holtz - Geologic and Petroleum Engineering
Consultant
Mark is an experienced geologist and reservoir engineer
with over 20 years of oil and gas research experience
at the Bureau of Economic Geology, The University
of Texas at Austin. His expertise focuses on integration
of geologic concepts and engineering methods in
both carbonate and sandston oil and gas reservoirs.
He received the West Texas Geological Society Distinguished
Service award and authored or co-authored 15 University
of texas Monographs and reports, 69 papers and 66
abstracts on reservoir characterization topics.
Mark's engineering skills have been broadly applied
in primary and secondary oil and gas projects throughout
Texas, as well as siliciclastic sequences in the
Australian Cooper and Eromanga Basins, Venezuela,
Argentina, Mexico, and Vienna Basin. His tertiary
experience in enhanced oil recovery has focused
of U. S.CO2 flooding. He has taught numerous short
courses in the form of in-house oil company courses,
public continuing education, and DOE technology
transfer courses in Australia, Argentina, US, Mexico,
Columbia, and Venezuela. He holds a Bachelor's degree
in Geology from the University of Wisconsin, Madison
and a Bachelor's and Masters degrees in Petroleum
Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin.
He served as a reservoir engineering technical editor
for the Society of Petroleum Engineers and was the
secretary of the Austin chapter for the Society
of Petroleum Engineers. |
